Flight planning is easy on our large collection of Aeronautical Charts. I suppose (not tested) you could put FltPlanGo on a virtualbox windows instance. SkyVector is a free online flight planner. Create and file your flight plan on, and it will sync to FltPlan Go to allow you to responsively edit the flight plan on the map NavLogs are automatically synced and downloaded for offline use FltPlan Go delivers powerful routing. However you need a separate computer on your network running windows to host windows flt plan go as apparently Windows Flt Plan Go cannot receive location information from the same ip as x-plane is running. FltPlan Go is an indispensable companion to the FltPlan website and incorporates essential features and tools for in-flight and offline use. Flt Plan Go is available for Windows on the Microsoft Store for free. However, it does have approach plates, airway charts, and sectional charts and it is free. On the other hand, failing to close a flight plan or notification produces a tremendous. One downside to Flt Plh Go is that the display is not a true "moving map" Eventually your aircraft icon will move off the sectional chart (or what ever chart or map you have selected) rather than the map moving to keep the aircraft icon centered. Not much to go on, in the vast area of northwestern Canada.
FLTPLAN GO HELP ANDROID
My tablet is a Samsung Galaxy Tab A running Android V 7.0. If your air craft is powered up, you should see location info. In FltPlanGo on your tablet, under External, check X-Plane under simulators. Mine was 192.168.1.239 which I found by clicking (in the tablet) Settings > WiFI > then clicking on the Connection that shows "Connected" Fourth paragraph down of the resulting page should show your IP Address which you should enter into X-Plane Network as described above. Where it says Enter IP Address enter the IP address of your android tablet. In X-Plane settings > Network> iPhone,Ipad etc > place a check by Transmit to a single third party appĀ on the network.
It appears Flt Plan Go is now (Nov 2018) compatible with X-Plane 11.30b3.
